Illustrating children’s books have always been my passion. At fall 2018 it’s finally happening! My very first children’s book will be released. Published by a Finnish publishing house Kustannus Mäkelä. The book is called “Minne sähkö meni?” roughly translated “Where’s the electricity?”. Read more about the book here.
At this portfolio section you can see few of my character studies.
Last year I joined Make art that Sells course for Illustrating Childrens Books. I know for sure that illustrating books is my next big thing. I’m really amazed how much I learned during those intense six weeks. It all started with character development and poses. After weeks we all had material ready to make perfect book pitch for agents and publishers.
